Hi, guys.....
I want you to meet Chisako......
She is a friend of mine and also a yaoi fan......
Well, truth is she think yaoi is too hadcore and she prefers shonen-ai......
She has something against sex...."Innocent" girl.....haha.....riiight......
And she just recently started reading/watching it under my influence.....
Anyway, Chisako had been the one doing the layouts for this blog. She was also the one who made the header and the picture I use at the end of every post.........
At first she said she wants nothing to do with this blog of mine, but of course, I changed her mind...yay me!
So, from now on, Chisako will be posting on this blog too ^^

I'll ask her to write an introduction of herself so that you'll get to know her better....... =)

Itsuka no Kimi e

Okies, so, I started watching live BL movies today ^^
Truthfully, I love it!!!!! XD

So, the first one I watched is Itsuka no Kimi e.

After Noboru saves Hayase from drowning by giving him mouth-to-mouth, Hayase grows confused about his feelings. It doesn't help that around the same time he meets Noboru's twin brother Ryu who has a very different, outgoing personality.

The young leader of the Ōmi group, Ranmaru, was forced to marry Kaoru, the daughter from another group. The couple went to Italy, and had their wedding on a ship. However, neither of them actually liked the marriage, and Ranmaru was kicked out by his newlywed wife Kaoru on their first night. Al (Alberto), an Italian man on the ship, took an interest in Ranmaru, and the story revolves around the romance between the two men, Ranmaru and Al.

I like this story.....but a part of me thinks that it is a bit weird seeing Ranmaru and Al doing stuffs together although they look good together. I mean, Ranmaru is Japanese and Al is Italian....I am not racist or whatever but it's just....kinda wrong to me..hahas...whatever....

Anyway, Al is hot. He has blonde hair and blue eyes. Just what I like in a guy...omg....haha.....But he looks better in the anime, though =D

And, omg, the 2nd episode is HAWT!!!! I got so aroused while watching it... *blush*blush* XD
The juicest part is episode 2 part 3 *wink*wink* =X

Hey, I am currently watching Suki na Mono wa Suki Dakara Shōganai, aka Sukisyo.
The english translation of the title is 'I Like What I Like, So It Can't Be Helped!' or 'I Like What I Like, So There' =D
I just started the 1st episode, so can't comment much yet.
It's an twincest. [Twins incest]
And one of them has a very cutesy voice...haha......

Yaoi
From ‘yama-nashi’ (without a climax), ‘ochi-nashi’ (without a conclusion) and ‘imi-nashi’ (without content). Originally emerged as a sub genre of shoujo, yaoi stories involve sex between men (homosexual content). Yaoi tends to involve graphic sex, often with little or no plot and focuses on the passionate and physical side of the relationship. It is incorrectly and commonly used as a synonym of ‘shounen-ai’.

Shounen-Ai
From shounen (men), ai (love). Love stories between men. These kind of stories don’t necessarily involve sex situations because they are more focused on the characters’ feelings. This genre is created by and for women and was not originally intended for the gay market.

Angst/Anguish Yaoi fanfics, usually with lemon scenes and a sad storyline. May have a gloomy ending.

Bishounen/Bishonen
From bi (beauty) and shounen (boy) also called 'bishie' is an attractive male character. The stereotype shows bishounen with androgynous features such as long hair and slender, hairless bodies. Bishounen will usually be sensitive, refined and angsty.

Bishounen Manga/Series Stories with bishounen as characters, not necessarily yaoi. As an example: Weib Kreuz.

Boy’s Love
(BL) Synonym for shounen-ai.

June
Name of the first magazine, published in 1978, with yaoi content. It was another term for ‘yaoi’, which is now in disuse because it is a trademark name.

Lemon/Lemonade
Name given to sex scenes and sex situations. It goes from soft sex to pornographic content. This term was created after a Hentai anime called “Cream Lemon”.

Lime/Lemonish
The soft version of the lemon. Shows non-explicit sex scenes/situations.

Reversible Character
Name given to yaoi characters who, because of their nature, can be labelled as both seme and uke. Usually these kind of characters will change depending on their partners. As an example, Hyoga from Saint Seiya can be Ikki’s uke but when he is with Shun he’ll become a seme.

Seme
The dominant character role in a shounen- ai/yaoi story. This character is generally more mature and strong willing, controls the situations and is taller than his partner (see Height Rule). During intercourse the seme is the one on top.

Shota
Yaoi stories where one of the characters in the relationship is a young, underage male. Sometimes involving sexual relationships. Female shota is called ‘Lolli’. Note: The legal age of consent in Japan is 13, so shota is totally legal in Japan. In some western countries shota might be considered child porn.

Shotacon
Stands for ‘Shotaru Complex’ in Japanese and refers to yaoi pairings between an adult male and an underage boy. Male version of Lolikon.

Siyohin
Yaoi stories made by fans or professionals that involve characters from a non-yaoi manga/series. See doujinshis.

The Height Rule
“In a yaoi relationship the taller is supposed to be the seme and the shorter the uke.” This rule is especially useful in siyohin doujinshis when two characters’ roles in the yaoi context are not completely defined.

Uke
From the Japanese verb 'ukeru' (to receive). It is the passive main role in a yaoi story. Most of the time, the uke will be childish, more feminine, submissive, younger, shorter and less experienced than his partner. During intercourse he is ‘bottom’ in a yaoi pairing.

Not yaoi terms, but also useful to know:

CD Drama
Compact disc with dialogue and sound effects that tells a story commonly outside the storyline of a series/manga.

CD Single
Audio CD with several musical tracks, usually the opening and ending theme songs of a particular series.

Doujinshi
Means ‘fan comic’. Doujinshis are amateur manga publications of popular anime shows or published mangas, usually produced unofficially. Doujinshis can be made by their original authors when they try to explore a different storyline. Because of Japanese laws, doujinshis can be sold to the public not only in Japan but around the world.

Fanfic
aka ‘fanfiction’. Fanfics are stories written by a fan about the characters and world in a series, usually without the original creator's permission.

Gekiga
Japanese term for ‘Graphic Novel’. These are usually stand-alone comic titles that aren't part of a monthly series or OVA.

Illustration collection
Book with illustrations from an artist or a specific series.

Josei Manga/Lady’s Comic
Manga genre created for woman aged 18-30, especially housewives and office ladies (OLs).

Mangaka
The person who draws/writes/creates the art for manga (comic strip).

OST
Original Sound Track. CD with the music of a series. Sometimes there is an OST for each season of a series.

Seiyuu
Name given in Japanese to the voice actors in an anime series.

Sukebe
Japanese term for pornographic material.

Tankôbon
Compilation volume of original stories or doujinshis.

Butoukai no Techou

Oh my god, I read this manga today, and I love it!~~~~
It is of forbidden love. (Which I love) and characters with longish hair (Which I love) and it's by Youka Nitta-sensei (omg, I'm in love!!!!) XD

So, yeah, there are some parts in the manga that I don't understand...but, still, I absolutely love it!!!! =D

Gosh, I am hyper today!!!! XD

And I am trying to figure out what the title means Butoukai no Techou aka Un Carnet de Bal..... I am gueesing it means something, something ball....lols! At times like this, I wish I knew Japanese!!!! hahas~~~~

Haru Wo Daiteita - Embracing Love

I absolutely LOVE this series! I read the manga, I watched the OVAs, I read all the fanfics I could find, I am just hooked to it! I even choose it as the header for my blog...So sad the Youka Nitta got into trouble for that copyright thing. Sighs! It's a fashion magazine, is it wrong kah? haiz, so, now, the manga had ended. So sad! I wanted way more of Iwaki and Katou..... oowhh....Iwaki-san....

When I watched the OVA, I was in love with Katou. His voice. His hair....omg.....but when I read the manga, I found out that the one I was in love in is actually Iwaki. Katou is right. Iwaki is beautiful. Even for a guy.(Wait-was it Seiji from Sensitive Pornograph who said that or Katou? Shucks. Whatever =D) Anyway, did I mention how he looks when he cries and when he is asleep? OM freaking G!!!

It's freaking sad the anime got licensed. Now, I can't watch it anymore. No way am I gonna download it. It's too risky. So sad....I'll miss Haru Wo Daiteita so so so so so freaking much!!

Still, I'll always remember it. Youka Nitta, you are a genius. Swear it, when I move out of my house, Haru Wo Daiteita is the first frigging DVD I'll buy!!!! For now, I'll just think of Iwaki-san......before I sleep, during bloody Mrs. Song's chemistry class, when I am in the car, when I am taking a shower.......

Katou and Iwaki are actors; one of the movies they acted together in is Winter Cicada (Fuyu No Semi). It is also made into an anime. The manga version is part of the Haru Wo Daiteita manga series. It is Volume 5, Chapter 4 =D

It is a nice story but the ending was, *gulps*........ But I am not going to reveal anything....Watch it for yourself! =) And part of it, I wasn't paying much attention because it was during the 'war' era, and I am not a fan of war....lols..... but I recommend reading and watching it. There are 3 episodes. But shit, yeah, they are freaking licensed. oh wells!!!!! Still, I found the anime in youtube. Hope they won't be removed, but most likely they will, anyway...soon..... *screams*
Three of them are in Spanish subtitles. The videos should be around the same timing. Sorry I couldn't find the English subtitled ones.... =(
